and talked freely about death and dying. I learned so much about him and got to see into the spiritual process of dying. This time was difficult for his family and for me as I felt deep love and did not want him to pass, but I knew that this was his journey and he was okay with it. I felt comfort in his courage and believe that his family gained a better understanding of his life and the way he chose to spend his last months.

I love working with the eldery because they have so much wisdom, so much of life's experience to share and teach, that they often become my spiritual teachers. It saddens me that our culture often casts aside the elderly instead of honoring them and embracing the gifts they have to share with all of us.

Part of my life's work is to help break down those walls whenever I can. Many clients have been discouraged and filled with fear by the medical community and misinformation. When I work with an older adult, I begin by helping them regain their power and ability to heal.
